Journal Campus House provides all-inclusive living covered by one simple fee. This includes fully furnished rooms, utilities (electricity & water), high-speed internet, events, 24/7 reception, and full access to social spaces – study rooms, lounges, gym, music and gaming rooms, courtyard, rooftops terraces and bookable rooms.

Which Universities are close to Journal Campus House?

Journal Campus House is right across the road from University of Melbourne and Trinity College, a short walk to Monash University Parkville Campus and a short walk or quick tram ride to RMIT. Monash College, Monash Caulfield and Clayton Campuses can be easily accessed via train from nearby Parkville station which is a five minute walk away.

Is there a café at Journal Campus House?

Yes, there are two cafes onsite offering warm food, sandwiches, pastries, Japanese sandos and hot and cold drinks.

Journal Campus House is in the heart of Melbourne’s bustling university precinct – moments away from famous Lygon Street and Melbourne’s central business district. All the essentials are covered in walking distance too eg supermarkets, pharmacies and bakeries.

What kitchen appliances are included?

All rooms at Journal include kitchen appliances like a fridge, microwave, oven and stovetop. Some apartments include a dishwasher as well, check the room type pages to see exactly what is included in each room.

What do I need to bring?

You need to bring your own linen, bedding and kitchen supplies. To make things easier, you can purchase these on the Journal residential portal.

How do I receive mail and packages?

Parcels will be delivered to reception, where our team will securely look after them until you’re able to collect them.

How far is Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport to Journal Campus House?

It is around a 25-minute journey by car.

Do you offer airport pick up/drop off services?

We offer a private airport pickup and drop-off services in partnership with a trusted provider. For pricing details and booking inquiries, please contact our reception team at campushouse@journalstudentliving.com.au.

What security measures are in place?

When entering the building there is a turnstile that is only accessible by residents. All door entry points are key fobbed. We have CCTV covering all common areas, our lifts require room key access to enter the levels, and our on-site staff are available at reception or patrolling the building 24 hours a day. Their main focus is to keep you safe & happy, and the building secure.
